Good to know

  • Does the first day count?

When counting between two dates, both days count if they are working days. When adding, Zegel starts counting from the day after your start date.

  • Can I use this for a legal deadline?

As a help, not as advice. Legal deadlines have their own rules; for example, a deadline that ends on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday moves to the next working day. Check the rule that applies to your deadline.

  • Does my community’s holiday count?

Not by default: it isn’t a legal public holiday. Choose your community if your employer or school gives that day off.
